our ethical and environmental policy
- Belvedere Guest House believes in living in harmony with our environment.
- We live in a beautiful area with fabulous wildlife — we are at the centre of a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
- Our Guest House is located in a Conservation Area.
- We want the area to remain as it is.
- We originally came to the area as avid ramblers and fell in love with Church Stretton and its countryside.
- We are reviewing all aspects of our business to become as green as practically possible.
- We are aiming to reduce and minimise our carbon footprint.
- We will provide where ever possible environmentally friendly healthy options and use products that do not require animal testing.
- We are increasing our use of Fair Trade and locally sourced products.
- We will recycle as much as possible and minimise our initial consumption where feasible.
- We are reviewing our heating and lighting systems so that we can provide a comfortable environment in which energy is not wasted.
- We see this as a continuous process in which we start light Green and become darker Green over time.
- We ask that our customers support our efforts and help us achieve our aims.
